Ms. Xue has taught Chinese in USA for seven years. She has taught Chinese as Second Language, 5th grade and 2nd grade and she is very familiar with three sets of textbooks. She won the 2014 Teacher’s Merit Award by Association of Chinese School. To be a teacher is her childhood career dream. She understands the responsibility she has to her students, so she has worked tirelessly to improve her teaching. She joined the 2011 Advanced Study and Training Program on Pedagogy and Chinese Teaching Materials organized by Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters at Dalian Foreign Language University in China. She also attended various on-site and online training and conferences organized by the Confucius Institute at University of Massachusetts Boston, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, Association of Chinese School and New England Chinese Teachers Association etc.
Ms. Xue put students as the center in her class. She teaches with scientifically approved methods and emphasizes listening, speaking, reading and writing as a whole. She integrates games, songs, and performances with the textbook. She challenges her students with 3 to 4 projects each year. She believes that a large amount of reading is essential for language learning, but the local public libraries lack Chinese books. She established a mobile library with books of hers and each student. She will switch to the online reading program iChineseReader to better serve this purpose. Regular extracurricular reading brings the student from the textbook to a much wider world. To better connect with students and their parents during the one week or ever longer between classes, she created a class website to post notices and homework, share learning source, show students’ school work and activities and communicate online with the class. Her website was adopted by the school as the template for all class website. She is also the first teacher to use WeChat as the platform for reading aloud homework. She established student records and shared with parents so parents can monitor the progress of their own kids.

Ms. Fleming graduated from Beijing Mechanical Engineering University. In 2009, she passed Global Child course on how to teach a second language in public schools. In the summer of 2010, Ms. Ling had an intensive study at Beijing Language and Culture University. She was certified by Hanban & Beijing Language and Culture University ‘Teach Chinese as second language’. She has taught at Sharon Chinese School for 6 years as the primary teacher in Grade K, Grade 1 and Chinese as Second Language for Beginners. She is very familiar with several sets of textbooks including Chinese by Jinan University, Meizhou Chinese and Happy Chinese. She is also a certified proctor of YCT and HSK tests and familiar with YCT 1 test. Ms. Fleming loves teaching Grade K. She leads Chinese learning in her class with various of fun activities such as singing songs, playing games, character cards and live conversation. Kids feel learning Chinese is not hard at all.
Ms. Sun worked as a reporter, a teacher of kindergarten, elementary school, and colleges. She is a MA certified teacher and teaches Chinese at Canton High School. She believes that Chinese characters are the most wonderful and beautiful pictures in the world; each Chinese character is a screen full of information and vitality. In the classroom, she loves to use the visual images of characters to help stimulate the children’s interest in learning Chinese; develop their own ability to imagine; explore their potential for learning Chinese; enjoy the fun brought forth by the Chinese language and culture.
Ms. Yu received a B.S. and an M.S. degree from the Aircraft Engineering Department of Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi’an, China. She then received an M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in the U.S. Ms. Yu has experience coaching Singapore Math, Continental Math League contests and New England Math League contests. received a B.S. and an M.S. degree from the Aircraft Engineering Department of Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi’an, China. She then received an M.S. and a Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University in the U.S. Ms. Yu has experience coaching Singapore Math, Continental Math League contests and New England Math League contests，and Olympia Math Contest.
Ms. Rich has dedicated to education and learning dynamics and demonstrated leadership and creativity working with diversity in schools and the workplace with superior teaching, communications and interpersonal skills.
Ms. Rich got her English Literature B.A. from Boston University and her Integrated Studies (Education, Management and Psychology) M.Ed. from Cambridge College. She is a certified teacher of the State of Massachusetts and has taught English literature and writing from elementary to college levels.

Ms. Chen has been practicing Yoga for over 16 years and is a certified yoga instructor. Currently she teaches yoga at Sharon Chinese School and some other schools. Her goal as a yoga instructor is to bring yoga to people of all ages in a fun and non-intimidating manner. She passes calm and nurturing spirit to her students so that they might find peace and balance of mind and body, thereby improving their overall wellness.
Ms. Xu has been teaching art since she graduated from college. While she was in China she taught elementary school students watercolor painting and Chinese painting; taught middle school students Chinese painting as their extra-curriculum activities; and she also taught community elderly Chinese painting. She continued to teach Chinese painting to Chinese schools students, Chinese living and working in the United States and artists who love Chinese tradition and culture.
Ms. Xu has more than 40 years of teaching experience and won the 2014 Teacher’s Merit Award by Association of Chinese School. She always well prepares for every class. Ms. Xu strengthens the basics of Chinese painting. She patiently showed students the correct way to hold the brush and how to use ink and color to express the charm of dark, light, dry and wet in Chinese painting. She told the story of some paintings so the students not only observe and draw, but also understand the background of the painting and the Chinese culture the paintings represent. Ms. Xu motivates the student’s imagination and creativity. She encourages them to do differently than her demo on applying colors and composition. She also reviews every student painting during class and it is such a good opportunity for the students to appreciate artworks and learn from each other.
She said, the education environment and culture in the United States is different from that of China. The teaching strategy and method should also be different accordingly. She is going to continue to try and improve.
Michelle Yu holds BS from Nanking University and Ph.D from University of California at San Francisco and was devoted to many years of medical research in Harvard Medical School, where she held a title of an instructor. Michelle teaches both Chinese language and art in Newton Chinese school, Sharon Chinese school, and Newton community education. Dr. Yu practices drawing and painting since childhood and demonstrates good skills in Chinese brush painting and calligraphy, and skills in watercolor, acrylic and oil painting. Dr. Yu had art exhibitions in both China and USA individually or in groups.
Ms. Yin has taught Chinese for several years. She has taught Grade 1-4 and 6, Chinese Culture ABC and Chinese Culture Knowledge intermediate. Ms. Yin has always been committed to strengthening Sino-US cultural exchanges. As a mother of three ABC, she knows that keeping Chinese culture and knowledge is her responsibility for the next generation. In and out of school, Ms. Yin has been trying to spread Chinese culture, not only among ethnic Chinese but also other ethnic groups.
Ms. Yin focuses on improving the students’ knowledge. In the classroom, in addition to textbook knowledge, she also collects the accumulation of material, combined with the contents of textbooks and real life. Her students all enjoy her class.
In May 2015, under her leadership, Sharon Chinese School Culture class won the second place in Liancheng’s Chinese Culture Competition.
Ms. Yan graduated from Beijing University of Science and Technology with a bachelor degree in engineering. She has been a Mandarin host of Guangdong People’s Broadcasting Station, a reporter of CCTV, a Chinese teacher at University of International Business and Economics, and holds first-class B certificate of Mandarin and international intermediate-level Chinese teacher certificate.
She teaches Chinese in a private elementary school in Massachusetts. She has used many textbooks and teaching materials for her Chinese teaching in the United States, including Taiwan’s “Mandarin”, France’s CEND, Hong Kong’s “Easy to Learn Chinese”.
Ms. Yan loves children and teaching. She has very positive and serious attitude toward her work. She learns from every teacher at Sharon Chinese School, and constantly improve the teaching methods to help children happily learn Chinese well.
Jie Weston (潘洁)，中国音乐家协会会员，中国民族声乐协会会员，中国西方音乐协会会员，硕士研究生，来美之前任教浙江传媒大学音乐学院，是表演和教学集一身的综合型艺术工作者。曾经获得全国首届原创红歌大赛演唱一等奖，多次在浙江的各大声乐大赛中获奖。在教学方面研制了自己的教学方法和体系，教学经验丰富，尤其擅长因材施教，深受学生喜爱。在音乐学院任教的十年里，教学成果丰硕，培养了大量艺术专业人才，并获得全国首届高校教师微课比赛浙江赛区二等奖。曾在浙江杭州建立了自己的声乐教学工作室，培养了三百余名社会声乐爱好者。潘老师是浙江传媒大学青年骨干教师，也是音乐学院有史以来第一位公派的出国访问学者，2013年在美国麻州大学音乐系进行了为期一年的访学。同时也是美国麻州大学音乐系接受的第一位国外访问学者。2013年在Fine Art Center 开了“潘洁中国民歌独唱音乐会”，引起了巨大的反响。2015年，移居美国。
Mr. Livingstone started Goshu ryu at the age of six (1979) and received first black belt at the age of 15. At the age of 19, he began studying under Nelson Chan, brother of the Famous Pui Chan of kung fu hall of fame. He has learned not only Praying mantis kung fu, but also Leung Ying, Choy Lay Fut, single arm, Tiger-crane, Chen tai chi and Yang tai chi.
Mr. Livingstone holds certifications for the fourth degree black belt in Goshuryu kenbujutsu, instructor level of Wah Lum kung fu and instructor level ofLeung Ying. He has extensive experience teaching children and adults in both Chinese and Japanese martial arts. He is affiliated with Goshuryu kenbujustsu, Wah Lum Kung Fu of America, Lee Koon Hung, Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu, Leung Ying Kung Fu and Tai Chi (Chen & Yang )

Ms. KarlMarx finished MPhil in History. During her studies, she is an active chess player in University tournaments and college events.
Ms. KarlMarx has vast experience in teaching chess for Beginners from the age of 5 to 11 years in Hyderabad India. She conducted tournaments in School levels for the 1st Grade to 5th Grade students and she has enjoyed a lot.
