《美洲华语》教材简介 

《美洲华语》是一套结合语言课本、故事读物、生字卡、作业和多媒体教具的综合性教材。不同于一般的中文课本美洲华语》的图片多、文字多但是容易念编写《美洲华语》的理念是用丰富精彩的内容吸引孩子们,让他们产生兴趣,不自觉地学中文、说中文

《美洲华语》像故事书一般的亲切,能帮助他们提升中文能力、具有成就感。 《美洲华语》课本在语言的表达上要求整体意念的流畅,每册的生字量与其他中文课本相当,但是文字总数却是其他课本的十几倍,所以学过的生字词还不断地重复出现,让孩子学习有成效,不容易学了后头忘了前头;词汇的范围包含同步学习的各项学科,让学生随着年龄的增长,中文习得能力也在同步增长。

《美洲华语》每册均附有该册的编写大纲、编写方式、教学及课程进度设计等说明。 《美洲华语》的题材多元,它涵盖了人文历史、科学、社会、文学、寓言、成语故事、民俗节日和日常生活等。 《美洲华语》中课文、故事和会话内容的深浅随着学生的年龄、生活经验和习得知识而增长。孩子们在成长过程中,随时可能遇到自我认同的疑惑,因此自信心及自我意识的培养犹为重要。所以, 《美洲华语》内容的主调就是帮助学生心理与智能的健康发展,在文化意识上强调中西思想的融合贯通,这些意图都蕴藏在课本的内容里,让每篇课文、故事和会话都与学生的思想产生共鸣,给他们自由发挥的空间。《美洲华语》的目的就是培育具有中西文化特质的优秀公民、共同促使中华文化成为美国主流文化的一部分,增进民族间、族裔间的理解与和谐。

难能可贵的是,《美洲华语》每篇课文都能用来作为孩子们上舞台表演的素材。学生从表演中能够增强对语言的理解,提高对汉语的学习兴趣。《美洲华语》每册的编排都是基于HSK和SAT的基本词汇要求,待十册教材学完后,顺理成章可以通过SATHSK的相关考试。

“American Chinese”Textbook

“American Chinese” is a series of Chinese teaching materials combining language textbooks, story books, vocabulary cards, exercises, and comprehensive multimedia teaching aids. “American Chinese” is different from other textbooks because it is designed to have more pictures, vocabulary and language fluency, while making it easy for students to read so they are interested in learning Chinese and helping them enhance their Chinese proficiency and sense of accomplishment.  Each book as about the same number of vocabulary words as other textbooks but the words appear repeatedly to strengthen the students learning.

Each “American Chinese” book has outlines, descriptions, an explanation of its lesson plans, curriculum design and syllabus.    “American Chinese” covers diverse subjects, such as the cultural history, science, sociology, literature, fables, idioms, folk festivals and daily life. It intends to develop self-confidence and self-awareness in students and to help students develop cultural awareness through emphasis on the integration of Chinese and Western thinking.   These intentions are embedded in the content of the textbooks and each lesson, story, conversation and ideas resonate with students. Each lesson in “American Chinese” can also be used for performance and from it students can enhance understanding of the language and raise their interest in learning the Chinese language.
